From the side navigation, click on the "Accounting" menu. This will expand the sub-menu items.
From the sub-menu items, click on the "Chart of Accounts" sub-menu.
Then you need to click on the "Add new ledger" button. Then a new window will appear.
In this window, you need to enter the details of the ledger and make sure to check the"Group Ledger" checkbox.
Please note that, * marked fields are required.
As an example, let's add a group ledger for "Bank Charges".
To do this, first select "Other Expense" from the "Parent Ledger" dropdown. Then, enter "7901" as the "Ledger Code", enter "Bank Charges" as the "Ledger Name" and choose "Group ledger" from the "Ledger Type". Once all fields are completed, click the "Submit" button to save the ledger.
To locate the recently saved/created ledger account, go to the search panel and type the ledger name "Bank Charges" in the search bar. After that, the corresponding ledger account will appear.
