From the side navigation, Click on the "Accounting" menu. This will expand the sub-menu items.
Step 2:
From the sub-menu items, click on the "General Ledger" sub-menu.
Step 3:
The application will take you to the "General Ledger" page. There are two parts in this page. In the first, you can view the filtering options. You can filter by:
Start date: This is a required field, so you must select a date.
End date: This is a required field, so you must select a date.
Department: This is an optional field.
Cost Center: This is an optional field.
Ledger: This is an optional field.
Contact: This is an optional field.
Note: If you want view the opening balance and the closing balance of the selected ledger(s), then you must check the Show opening & closing balance checkbox. The opening and closing balances are usually required for Balance Sheet items.
Step 4:
In the second part, you can find the "List of journal entries" for particular ledger(s). By default, this table shows 20 vouchers, and the list is sorted by dates in ascending order.
Step 5:
You can export the general ledger by clicking on the "Export to Excel" button.
Step 6:
You can also search journal entries by using the "Search Panel". You can search for the following columns:
Voucher Number
Bill/Transaction Number
Payment Reference Number
Contact Name
Department Name
Cost Center Name
Remarks
Step 7:
As shown in the image, you will find "Page Navigation" buttons. Be default, the table shows 20 items at a time. You need to use these buttons to navigate from one page to another page.
Step 10:
If you want to see the complete general ledger without navigating from one page to another, then you need to change the "Page Size " from 20 to All, as show in the image.
Step 11:
On the right bottom side of the table, you can see how many items are showing in the table. As you can see from the image that currently it is showing "41 - 60 of 439 items", which means that there are 439 vouchers and the table is showing only 20 items.
Step 10:
In case if you want to refresh/reload the table, you can use "Refresh" button as shown in the image.
